Bazaar Express: NJ transit proposes huge hike to metro fares, what’s on TV tonight, Creepy weirdo who killed his parents in Brooklyn has dark history, plus more top stories by The Express

Good evening everyone and welcome to this edition of Bazaar Express. A few words before we begin tonight — in a world and future that is setting itself up to look even more uncertain than before everybody should probably start thinking about side hustles to make extra cash to keep your households going because things are getting saucy in these political streets and not in a good way.

  1. What’s on TV tonight

Tonight we are watching the Bequeathed on Netflix.

2. Eric Adams wants to regulate e-bikes but not the often insanely crazy drivers who will mow you down at any given time in New York City.

Full of ideas and hot-air but unfortunately the ballon has not left the station.

3. NJ transit is facing huge backlash after proposing a 15% hike to the cost of its fares in a tit-for-tat with New York.

NJ riders may be in a very rude awakening this year. According to reports, in a tit-for-tat with New York, NJ ‘s struggling train system has come into the spotlight. Reports say that NJ officials have proposed a 15% fare hike to the system to help boost ailing revenue numbers. The proposal comes after New York taunted the state over its troubles in fixing its own system but talking big stuff about NYC ‘s widely panned congestion fee set to begin later this year. Both of these things, however, are likely to already push cash-trapped and cash conscious locals away from city centres even further rather than the opposite. Any New Yorker will tell you they probably won’t pay $15 to get into Manhattan unless they absolutely have to do so for urgent reasons. Can’t imagine a 15% hike in fare prices slated for July assuming it takes off will land quite well with residents across the bridge either.

4. Mentally ill man who allegedly stabbed both of his parents violently to death in Brooklyn earlier this month has a ‘dark and twisted’ history according to reports.

According to reports, the disturbed man who shocked Brooklyn earlier this month after he allegedly murdered both of his parents has a history that neighbors say was not shocking in terms of his crime. The Post reports that Meye Sperber the purported killer is understood to have recently lost his job and was placed on signficant psychiatric medication. He is accused of violently stabbing his elderly parents in their Borough Park home earlier this month where neighbors overheard him screaming in Yiddish before the grisly discovery.
