Congress’s most emboldened liar George Santos will get to keep his job that is at least until voters get their hands on him. Today Santos appeared before a House hearing meant to decide if he should be expelled — but it came out in his favor.
Santos’s existence in the Republican Party crimes aside is crucial to the continuation of the party. Republicans do not have enough of a majority to shoulder the loss of Santos’s vote when or if he finally does get removed from office.
The final votes were 213 against with 179 voting for.
