Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein is back in the spotlight. According to reports, a ruling out of NY has vacated the associated rape charge against him.

Shock news today in the ongoing legal case of Harvey Weinstein. In a 4-3 ruling, the state’s highest court found that the judge the first go round wrongfully accepted testimony from three women unrelated to the case.
“We conclude that the trial court erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes,” the shocking decision read, in part. “The remedy for these egregious errors is a new trial.”
Weinstein’s lawyer almost immediately announced that his legal team was ld be using the news as means to bolster their appeal in California.
Weinstein will remain in prison on similar charges in LA.
