Perhaps now the U.K ‘s shortest-lived PM ever Liz Truss is out of a job. Truss is expected to announce today from Downing Street within hours that she will resign after just 44 days in office. Unfortunately for the United Kingdom, this means that some other conservative nutcase is headed for office.
Truss initially gained the support of many of her own party members except that eventually meant nothing. Initially sailing to power on the promise of low taxes and faster growth, Truss in essence later helped expedite her own fall from grace after a series of unfortunate events including causing the pound to plummet in value.
