Ecuadorian officials are investigating a triple murder this week. According to police, a trio of young women were found dead after disappearing from a recent beach party.
The young women were found with their throats slit and left in a shallow grave.
Those young women have been identified as Nayeli Tapia, 22, Yuliana Macias, 21, and 19-year-old Denisse Reyna – their bodies were uncovered alongside the Esmeraldas River near Quininde, Ecuador, last week.
It is understood that police do not have any leads at this time. The discovery of the remains was made by a local fisherman who had gotten curious when his dog was sniffing a particular area.
