🚨 If you are a recipient of this program this means that your assigned cellular service or internet service may become more expensive. This benefit was part of a program partially subsidizing internet service for low income Americans.
According to reports, officials administering the program expect to be able to fund only about half of the applicants who are approved for the program. Congress has not implemented an extension or new funding for the program which now threatens to plunge millions of Americans into concern.
The program was initially designed to promote bringing internet access to everyone in a changing world where such has become nearly inescapable.
