Jon Benet Ramsey’s cold case is once again making headlines. According to police and government officials, the infamous 1996 murder of the child pageant Queen is getting another look.
The famous tot is back in the headlines once more against the backdrop of the anniversary of her murder.
“Since JonBenét’s murder, detectives have investigated leads stemming from more than 21,000 tips, letters, and emails. We have travelled to 19 states to interview or speak with more than 1,000 individuals,” the Boulder Police Department said in a statement Wednesday.
Ramsey notoriously turned up dead in her parent’s home that year under circumstances that have never quite been proven or made much sense.
