Car rental agency Hertz is facing some accusations from quite a few customers in a new lawsuit. According to documents reviewed by Bazaar Daily, the company has been accused of at least 47 instances of false arrests.
Documents show that more than 47 people apparently were subjected to false arrests; failure to act on behalf of the company, and all around poor service. Interestingly, some of the complaints actually allege that Hertz had their customers arrested at gunpoint over the fact they failed to report a simple rental extension. Some people actually spent time in jail while others actually lost their jobs and careers.
The case was reportedly filed in Delaware and is expected to drag on for some time.
