It sounded like something straight out of a crime drama from 1945. Earlier this month, news emerged that a corrections officer by the name of Vicki White had broken a murderer Casey White out of jail and proceeded to go on life on the run. As many outlets reported in the beginning of the manhunt, it later became clear that Vicki White had behind the backs of prison officials engaged in an intimate relationship with White.

The criminal duo had been caught in Indiana after a car chase with the Marshall service who later crashed into them to stop their vehicle.
