Bizarre deep fake audio of Sadiq Khan not criminal offence: Police

A completely altered audio of the voice of Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, is making its rounds and now the police are investigating. According to reports, the now infamous audio appears to hear Khan allegedly play down the importance of remembrance day.

But following an investigation, Sky reports that police found that though the audio is entirely fake and being amplified by far-right groups — it does not constitute an offence.
