What are you hiding George? George Santos falls under fire again amid reports he took money from unregistered fund that is ‘off the grid’

Calls for Republican Congressman George Santos to exit office are continuing to grow this week with new calls for his campaign coffers to be frozen. According to ABC News, Republicans in his own party at least in New York are now joining residents in calling for Santos to resign and face consequences for the many lies he told about his past; work history, and pretty much about his entire life that helped him get elected to office.

The new calls come amid a discovery by the New York Times that some of Santos’ campaign funds appear to be pretty sketchy at least in terms of where they actually came from. According to a piece in the New York Times, Santos received about $700,000 from an unregistered company called Redstone Strategies. Problems with this quickly arose, because, there aren’t any formal federal or public records for this company nor its donors or donation schemes. It is unclear who or what is actually behind the company in question.

The $700,000 has fallen into question because his previously reported salary in 2020 was all but $55,000 but somehow managed to donate this to his campaign. Democratic Congressman Ritchie Torres of the Bronx is leading the call for further investigations.
