Bankman-Fried is officially on U.S soil. According to reports published overnight, the failed crypto crook landed at NY’s Westchester Airport in the dead of night to face charges over what has amounted to the largest and most prolific fraud in U.S history. It comes as both his co-founder and former girlfriend have both turned on him in exchange for sweetheart deals with the Americans in hopes they get lesser sentences. Those two are Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang which have both been charged themselves but are actively cooperating with the SDNY.
In a video posted to Twitter, officials revealed that the twosome have been charged with defrauding the Securities and Exchange Commission (aka the top Wall Street regulator) and agreed to turn against Bankman-Fried in hopes of sweetheart deal(s.)
