Infamous fraudster Elizabeth Holmes (who now has a buddy in the most infamous fraudsters of all time club) is back in the headlines. This week Holmes legal team reportedly filed papers in a San Jose Court arguing that Holmes should be allowed to remain free until a decision on her appeal has been made. Holmes is due to report to prison for her 11 year sentence in April 2023. She is due to give birth before this time according to multiple reports.
The basis? According to the filing, Holmes’ legal team claims that this should be allowed because she was only found guilty on charges of defrauding investors rather than patients according to The Mail.
