Reports: Researchers believe they have found the tomb of legendary Egyptian Queen Cleopatra

If true and in fact, it is poised to be one of the most significant discoveries in recorded history. According to reports out today, researchers in Egypt appear to believe they are on the cusp of one of the most monumental discoveries of our time. The missing and mysterious tomb of Egyptian Queen Cleopatra is understood to potentially have been found buried in a creative tunnel 43 feet below ground in the country.

The find of course has the potential to unlock troves of historical facts and fascinating pieces of information previously unknown to modern man.

For the past two decades, researchers have been searching beneath the  Tapuziris Magna  temple where it is also believed that Cleopatra is located with her husband Mark Antony. It is unclear what artifacts if any were or may be presently in the tomb as it has gone undisturbed for centuries.

News of the discovery, made during an excavation project led by archaeologist Kathleen Martinez of the University of San Domingo, was reported by Ancient Origins.
