Signs that nobody wants to see are popping up all across the United States (Mass, and now Oklahoma) as authorities are racing to investigate the source. The signs appear to have come from pro-white groups, although locale police note that they do not believe there are imminent threats to minority ethnic groups in either area.
Although alike the situation in Oklahoma police confirmed that they’re investigating the posters out of an abundance of caution. The Oklahoman reports that the University in the area has released the following statement
“Despite what the intentions of that message may have been, the message reminds me of one fact that I know our community embraces — it’s okay to be EVERYBODY,” Roth said. “Exclusion and hate will not be tolerated here. You are accepted at OCU Law no matter how you pray, what you look like, or who you love. And you always will be.”
Police said this..
“The important thing now is to 100% identify this person and find out what his intentions were,” Citty said.
Once the man is found, officers will try to determine whether he planned any more incidents at OCU. The man will be told not to return to the school campus.
The flyers alone don’t appear to be a crime, Citty said. The property would have to be destroyed for vandalism to apply. Officers will investigate whether the person’s actions amounted to a hate crime.
