Russia’s foreign minister claims the U.S. is in direct war with Russia over its alliance to Ukraine

Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov spent his time at the United Nations spewing typical Russian propaganda this week. But among that propaganda stood out a comment that is otherwise now catching headlines.

During a speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Sergey Lavrov attempted to paint a narrative that otherwise suggests the United States is at war with Russia. Per the same speech, the Russians are now claiming that the Americans are using the Ukrainians as fodder for an alleged war against Russia.

The response came following a question from a journalist who asked at what point has the West gone too far.

“You can call this whatever you want to call this, but they are directly at war with us. We can call this a hybrid war, but that doesn’t change the reality,” Lavrov said. “They are effectively engaged in hostilities with us, using the Ukrainians as fodder,” he added

Take a look at the speech below.
