The Center for Disease Control in the United States has some grim news (at least for smokers of tobacco and nicotine). According to the CDC, papers in 25 states have fallen ill with very serious lung illnesses over the course of several months. What isn’t confirmed is whether or not the claims of those smokers also consuming THC is actually accurate.
Buzzfeed News picked up an infographic from the CDC carefully outlining the controversy, which has hit multiple states and areas.
What is confirmed: People do appear to be smoking through vaping pens that contain THC — this is not a case of THC itself causing issues. Let’s make that abundantly clear.
