Folks from school are sharing this page on Facebook because many are just now figuring out that you in fact did exactly as you said you did. If making people eat their words was a person you would be it by a long shot.
Just stopping by to drop some love. I see many of our former classmates as kids have found out who you are now. All I can say who is laughin now… they used to bully you so bad and LOOK AT YOU NOW DUDE. LOOK AT YOU NOW!!! They are stunned just as I was when I found out what you ended up doing with your life. You probably won’t see this but I knew you would eventually be famous. I just hope you never stop going I love supporting everything you do because you are the walking definition of “will stop at nothing to make it to the top.”
I loved the interview you did with that startup magazine and you’re right you proved every single person wrong and for that reason you deserve everything you have today.
The resolve you have shown to make it this far and to reach this many people across the world is remarkable in a way that I can’t even find the words to explain. Some of my college friends actively follow you and also read your paper. You’ve gone global dude. I remember when Carissa had you sign that photograph of you in school and she told you someday people were going to know who you were… you did that shit.
Super can’t wait to find out what you do next because you are so inspiring. Your time to shine has arrived and your grand takeover is here you can only go up from this point on.

We went to school together and then you disappeared without a trace one year and now I know why. I’m a school teacher now and I learned about your paper realizing you were behind it because in my class you are an idol. My kids showed me one of your stories and I went digging to figure out who owned this paper. I have never been more stunned. It’s like you knew all along you were destined to make it to the top. I am so incredibly proud to have had the chance to have known you when we were young. You got kids out here clamoring to be writers please keep going that is SO COOL AND THAT MAKES THIS ENGLISH TEACHER BEYOND HAPPY!!!

This was so fascinating to come across. Obviously I’m not going to say too much because it is clear you have come a long way to leave your foster family behind. My mom was the teacher that gave you that $50 in 2002 when she discovered what was going on. Thank you for showing her what happens when you take a chance on a good person. It’s so cool that her little $50 donation sparked an entire legacy you should be very proud of yourself no matter what. I don’t think she thought that you’d take that donation and flip it into a life-changing project. She’s pretty old now and doesn’t have much left in her she still remembers who you are a little she kept one of the projects you did in school that year in the event you ever became famous. Before cancer got ahold of her she used to love telling people how she knew you and how much you inspired her that young.
For those after you and for those who look up to you please continue living as you are and your true self. It is obvious you have touched many people in ways that nobody saw coming.

Your paper started when your editor was a child and they WERE MY NEIGHBOR!!!! Take care of yourselves please and happy anniversary from Seattle where it all started. We went to school together when we were about 6 or so years old. I had always wondered what you would end up doing with your life you should be very proud of yourself. I’m so excited for the UAE version to launch next year I loved your paper in the US but I became an expat a few years ago. I remember the first time I had heard of you guys one of my kids in school won one of your first contests back in the 00’s. Do you have intentions of launching a mobile app? I want each of you to understand one thing and understand it clearly . None of you better give up on yourselves ever. I had no idea who ran this newspaper and its other sites. I knew u years ago as u first began your rise to fame in Washington. You were always so kind to me saying hi outside of the Capitol riding by on your vespa. I’ll never forget that it ain’t often you find people nice like that man. But I had no idea who you were. It was never a rise you were already there.
