New York City is eyeing curfews for migrants at city shelters as crisis remains ongoing

New York City’s spiraling migrant crisis is in for a very rude awakening. According to reports, migrants may soon be facing curfews at city shelters as the shelter system (which was already dramatically overpopulated) continues to buckle under the intense pressure.

New reports out this week are revealing new plans by New York City’s Eric Adams to reel in the soaring migrant crisis that has all but crushed local city shelters — often leaving real New Yorkers in the dust. Local news reports that officials are determining whether a curfew would make sense. Critics however quickly pointed out that such is likely to result in violence as curfews means you don’t show up at x time you do not get a bed.
