Russia has denied reports that it was involved in the sudden plane crash that may have killed warlord Prigozhin

Russian officials are on the defense this week against claims that the state downed Prigozhin’s plane intentionally. U.S intelligence reports claim to have gathered enough Intel to confirm it was an assassination.

Kremlin mouthpiece Dmitry Peskov in comments made to the AP firmly denied those intelligence reports on all fronts. Peskov asserted that the ‘west us making it up’ but provided no critical evidence to suggest such.

“There is now a great deal of speculation surrounding this plane crash and the tragic deaths of the plane’s passengers, including Yevgeny Prigozhin,” Peskov told reporters. “Of course, in the West, all this speculation is presented from a well-known angle.”

“All of this is an absolute lie, and here, when covering this issue, it is necessary to base yourself on facts,” he added. “There are not many facts yet. They need to be established in the course of investigative actions.”
