Following a sensational trial, the verdict in the case against neonatal nurse Lucy Letby has been revealed. According to reports, the former nurse has been found guilty of murdering 7 babies that were in her care starting way back in 2015.
According to the case, Letby was found guilty of the deaths of five baby boys and two girls, and the attempted murder of five more boys and five more girls, when she worked at the Countess of Chester Hospital in northwest England between 2015 and 2016.
Lucy Letby’s crimes were something straight out of a terrifying horror movie.
As the case goes, Letby was first accused of deliberately harming newborn infants in many ways. Some of those ways included injecting air into the bloodstream; administering air or milk into their stomachs via nasogastric tubes.
In some of the instances, she was also accused of poisoning them with insulin.
