Report finds Russia committed war crimes, crimes against humanity in unlawful invasion of Ukraine

Russia’s lopsided war for control of Ukraine amounts to both war crimes and crimes against humanity according to a new UN backed report. The new report suggests that Russia has committed thousands of crimes against humanity and war crimes over the course of the war. According to estimated statistics, some 8,000 innocent Ukrainians have lost their lives to Vladimir Putin’s heinous crimes.

The report cited a wide variety of offenses committed on behalf of Russia and often at Putin’s direction. Those offenses reportedly include accusations that children were forced to watch loved ones being raped, or detained near dead bodies.

In the same report, officials also go into terrifying detail of how Russia has intentionally targeted vital services and areas of the country. Those areas include hospitals; apartment complexes, and things like the country’s own power grid.
