In Texas the only thing people are good for is lining the pockets of the wealthy by means of their manual labor and apparently breeding each other. A new bill in the legislature is making its way down the pipeline and it is catching some criticism along the way.
The bill, House Bill No. 2889, would only apply to a “qualifying married couple” which the bill defines as “a man and a woman who are legally married to each other, neither of whom have ever been divorced.”
As many critics have pointed out, Texas is attempting to bribe people to make them breed each other. It would also give people (only straight people) 10% off their property taxes for simply being married and heterosexual. Four kids would amount to 40% off of property taxes and 10 or more kids people wouldn’t pay property taxes at all.
