Hours after barring women from universities, Taliban released two American prisoners but it is unclear why

The why may be part of a campaign to temper western temperatures over the move by Taliban terrorists. As we reported last night, Taliban terrorists announced that women are indefinitely banned from Universities both public and private for the foreseeable future. This goes against international promises and commitments made; their own promises to the Afghan people, and just about every government in the western world. Hours after the terrorist regime made the announcement two American prisoners made their way home via Qatar after a surprise break from Taliban jail.

Washington Post reports that the two Americans one of which was held after filming via a drone where the Al-Qaeda leader was killed made their way to Qatar after being sprung from Taliban possession. It is unclear why the Taliban decided to release the twosome, however, most are going with a smokescreen for their latest move against women’s rights. State Department officials have made it clear that the move does not temper their attitude towards their move against women’s rights and that ‘such will come with a cost.’
