A new science find appears to hold clues to extraterrestrial life: Scientists

A stunning and cool new find appears to hold hope for scientists and researchers looking to gain new insight into the search for extraterrestrial life. According to Space.com, the discovery of a collection of arctic vents appears to be similar to actual vents that may be on Saturn’s icy moon Enceladus. The discovery means that scientists would have access to study such a vent that would lend clues about the environment inside Saturn’s infamous moon.

“The single biggest part of what we may have discovered is a vent site beneath an ice-covered ocean that is also a great place to study organic synthesis relevant to the origin of life and the search for life beyond Earth,” Chris German, a senior scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the paper’s lead author, said in a statement.
