Like 2016 Uber is once again facing calls to upgrade its systems and better care for its security protocols. According to reports published Sunday, the ride-hailing service suffered yet another major data breach after a lone hacker gained access to its reserved admin-only control panel area. The hacker apparently managed to do so after managing to trick an administrator into giving up their credentials. Screenshots posted to Twitter and in conversations with cybersecurity professionals, according to the AP, proved that the hacker had gained access to Uber ‘s cloud systems.
