A corrections officer appears to have helped a murderer escape prison, now the feds are racing to find them

It’s like something straight out of a movie almost. This week news of a corrections officer gone rogue situation unfolded in Alabama amid reports that a capital murder suspect had escaped prison. The officer has been identified as Vicky White, and is wanted on a charge of permitting or facilitating the escape of capital murder suspect, Casey White, from the Lauderdale County Jail in Alabama.

The U.S. Marshals Service said it is offering up to $10,000 for information about an escaped inmate, Casey White, and a correctional officer, Vicky White, who disappeared Friday.Lauderdale County Sheriff

Casey White, 38, was charged with two counts of capital murder in September 2020 in the stabbing of Connie Ridgeway, 58, according to publicly available information about his criminal history.

A $10,000 reward is being offered by feds for information leading to their capture.
