Two high profile royals have tested positive for COVID-19

Denmark’s Queen Margrethe, 82, and Spain’s King Felipe V, 54, both have mild symptoms. Both of which have seen gone into reported isolation to prevent causing others to become ill. According to the palace, Queen Margrethe has cancelled her pending holiday in Norway due to coming down with the Coronavirus but is understood to be in OK condition.

Meanwhile Spain ‘s King Felipe V has also tested positive for the virus and according to the Spanish royal palace he is also in OK condition though will remain in isolation for up to 7 days. Like Margrethe they both attended a small number of events (though Margrethe was far more exposed to the public than Felipe was.)

Queen Letizia is understood to not have come down with the virus as she has not shown any symptoms at this time.
