CHILLING: Police bust Windsor intruder, who was attempting to assassinate Queen Elizabeth

A 19-year-old man from Southhampton is in jail today under the Mental Health Act after he reportedly spent Christmas weekend, and we mean this literally, trying to break into Windsor Castle to assassinate Queen Elizabeth. The Sun reports that prior to the man’s arrest a video appeared online that was eerily similar to manifestos used by American school shooters.

Except he had a crossbow in the video (we won’t show that here for obvious reasons.) The Sun reports that the following chilling message can be heard in the video:

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry for what I’ve done and what I will do. I will attempt to assassinate Elizabeth, Queen of the Royal Family.”

Police aren’t revealing many more details at this time due to an ongoing investigation. It is understood that the young man was not able to breach any of the rooms or actually get inside. The incident is eerily similar to a previous one decades ago when that man actually got into the Queen ‘s bedroom but she was unharmed.
