A 3rd juror has been removed from Elizabeth Holmes’ trial after being caught playing sudoku

Elizabeth Holmes trial from day one contained every ingredient needed for the inevitable Lifetime movie somebody is probably already working on. But as time has gone on — the trial has found controversy as it has an internal scandal. Controversy has since hit jurors in the reported case after one of them was found to be playing sudoku while serving.

The unidentified juror reportedly admitted to the judge in the chambers’ that she had opened the game to “help her focus” something she didn’t disclose to court officials when it happened. The Mail notes that the judge actually discovered what she did following a tip-off from a fellow juror.

She had apparently managed to smuggle sudoku into the courtroom via her court provided notebook for the case some of which she had managed to do for at least 10 full calendar days.
