The CDC has extended America’s eviction ban for now

America ‘s Center for Disease Control has done what many thought they wouldn’t do. According to the agency, a 60-day eviction moratorium is in place once again as government officials are in shambles trying to stop a monsoon of evictions across the United States.

It however does come on the heels of Nancy Pelosi herself refusing to bring back Congress to address the matter in itself. Her refusal of course has not sat well with her own constituents in San Francisco and those who follow her policies across the spectrum of the U.S. According to the new order, the eviction moratorium is now in effect until 3 October and will focus extra manpower on counties and place that have higher transmissions of the virus over others.

Allot of the problem with the eviction statuses in America surrounds the fact that states are dragging their arse dishing out rental relief funds to American families in need. The previously passed bill included $47B in emergency rental assistance though only about $3B of that has actually been allocated towards what it was meant for.

The Washington Post has more.
