Cardiac arrest? No worries — NYC just told EMT ‘s to let you die

Because the rest of the world doesn’t exist even though COVID-19 patients are in dire need of help. According to the New York Post, EMT ‘s and paramedic services reportedly received a letter from city officials. That latter opens by stating that they’re now recommended to essentially let cardiac-arrest patients die on scene upon arrival if they have no more of a pulse.

The Health Department apparently helped make the recommendation because city hospitals and such are inundated with COVID-19 patients. Some reports say that even when cardiac-arrest patients are brought in for care, there often aren’t any available ICU beds for them.
