Because his fast spending ass hasn’t paid rent but loves to preach about “in the name of thee.” That thee must be his bank account because in the past two years alone — Gray has faced more scandals than the late Bishop Eddie Long.
According to rpeorts, Gray is being booted from his Relentless church for failure to pay rent although he apparently has the money to buy Lambo ‘s for his equally questionable wife (oh say we you see, by the dawn of an eviction notice!.)
It sounds like the events actually began culminating in 2017 after a partnership between Gray and his wife and a couple named Ron and Hope Carpenter. The Carpenter Family owns the church and the land in which it sits on — but had moved to California at one point to take over another church.
Gray hasn’t paid rent in at least 6 months and has been recklessly spending church funds; givings, donations, and the like. At one point he was so recklessly encouraging spending — “he would go around to church-goers and literally tell them to take from the church what they could. He was offering them church resources for no reason at all” according to several sources close to Relentless’s administration and accounting team.
