High risk sex offender busted in homophobic attack that took place inside subway station at Penn Station

Cops have a suspect in the reported homophobic attack that took place last weekend at Penn Station. According to reports, a high-level sex offender has been arrested in connection to the criminal act.

The Lowdown

According to reports, Milton Hamlin, 46, has been arrested in connection to last Friday ‘s attack on a Manhattan subway aimed at a reported gay man. The attack took place on an Uptown train at Penn Station where police say Hamlin targeted the man because he was not only gay he was with his partner.

“They were acting like every other couple on the train,” Lieutenant John Russo of the NYPD’s Detective Bureau told reporters during a Tuesday briefing. “They were just together and Milton Hamlin, for whatever reason, took exception to that.” Cops reportedly found Milton after using facial technology which led to charges including  assault and menacing, both as hate crimes.
