A man has died after being shot in the head execution style in random attack in Brooklyn

In New York City gun violence remains a problem. According to reports, a man was shot in the back of the head in Brooklyn today in the city’s latest scene of violent crime.

Shortly after 4 pm today near Franklin Avenue and Lincoln Place, a man in his 30s was shot execution style in a random attack. Police have no motive for the crime at this time, and the suspect remains at large.

Police reports indicate that the man died this evening at Kings County Hospital Center. The man has been identified as 37-year-old Nazim Berry who had gotten into an argument with a man over his refusal to give away free cigars inside the Amin Deli in Crown Heights.
