The next stage of artificial intelligence is here and it is exactly what everyone expected. According to an announcement from OpenAI, text-video AI has arrived and it looks more real than most people would’ve probably thought such would.
The tech company made the reveal on a website dedicated to the new tech. OpenAI ‘s text-to-video software is named Sora and has a ‘deep understanding’ of how to compute language.
“Sora is able to generate complex scenes with multiple characters, specific types of motion and accurate details of the subject and background,” OpenAI said. “The model understands not only what the user has asked for in the prompt, but also how those things exist in the physical world.”
