In Stefanik’s world the call seems to be coming from inside the house. Despite widespread efforts by Elise Stefanik to position herself as an ardent Trump loyalist — her past comments are coming back to haunt her.
The Lowdown
The internet never goes away but someone forgot to tell Stefanik that. Following her sparring match with Liz Cheney, she is understood to have deleted her archives of press releases dating back years. Some have pointed out that this appears to be an effort to deceive the public to appease the MAGA wing of the GOP party.
