Canadian fashion designer Peter Nygard, 82, has learned his fate after a 6 week trial involving sexual assault allegations brought by four women

Disgraced fashion designer Peter Nygard, 82, has been convicted on four counts of sexual assault related to the original claims that he lured four women into a hotel room that had no door handle.

In New York alone, Nygard is facing more than 57 accusations of sexual assault or some form of deviance. Some reports suggest that some of the women involved on that front were as young as 14 and 15 years old when the abuse took place.

The Lowdown

Prosecutors successfully argued with startling evidence that Nygard sexually abused four women inside of his condo space in downtown Toronto. At the time, four women claimed that Nygard lured them into one of the available rooms in the office space — but it had no door be what came next was terrifying. Many of the incidents occurred between 1988 and 2005 respectively.
