RNC really doesn’t want its candidates to attend a Thanksgiving forum, many of them appear to be prepared to do so anyway

RNC officials are now attempting to enforce the unusual rule that anyone who goes against them goes without. According to reports, the RNC has barred its members from attending an open-press event in Iowa meant to be a Christian prayer forum.

Former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott and former SC Gov Nikki Haley– were invited to the Family Leader’s “Thanksgiving Family Forum” on November 17. The event, however, runs afoul of the previous pledge that Republican candidates were required to sign in order to proceed with their campaigns.

“It has come to the attention of the RNC Counsel’s Office that several Republican presidential candidates have been invited to participate in an open-press event in Iowa in November at which they would ‘gather around the table to have a moderated, friendly, and open discussion about the issues.’ In other words, a debate,” the RNC counsel’s office said according to CNN.
