Setting up the elderly President for a likely rematch with Donald Trump. According to reports, the DNC and Biden collectively raised $71m through the end of September.
Critics say it is a strong indication of big donors remaining united behind the party. Unification that so far has eluded Republicans in their efforts to actually get something done in their campaigns or elsewhere in Washington. In total, Democrats have about $91m in spare change as of last month.
