Report: Surveillance images appear to suggest that Russia is back to testing nuclear capable missiles

New reports out today suggest that Russia has returned to testing long range nuclear capable missiles. Surveillance images discovered appear to show activity on something often nicknamed ‘The Flying Chernobyl.”

The New York Times is out with a new report that suggests Russia is testing missiles again. According to surveillance images scanned by the paper, Russia appears be preparing to test the Burevestnik, aka the SSC-X-9 Skyfall, or has done so already.

The weapon is believed to be one of many that Vladamir Putin referenced in 2018 when he announced the country would begin such tests. Though over the years despite several tests, all of those tests have largely failed according to the same report. Putin had previously made comments suggesting that such missile is ‘so powerful’ it could easily overpower American defense systems.
