Updated: Duane Davis has been indicted for the murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur

Reports out today have confirmed that Duane “Keffe D” Davis has been arrested in connection to the 1996 murder of rap legend Tupac Shakur. Davis previously known to police admitted in 2019 that he was in the vehicle with Shakur during the shooting that killed him.

According to a news wire by the Associated Press, Davis has been arrested in connection to the murder, however, the exact nature of the charges aren’t known at this time. Davis had previously penned a memoir in 2019 where he admitted to being in the Cadillac with Tupac when gunfire broke out on that tragic night in 1996.

Earlier this year, the home of Davis’s ex wife was searched in connection to the investigation. Cops abruptly searched the home at the time and understood to have obtained several items from the residence.
