Following ‘strong reactions’ to news that Russia Belarus and Iran received invites to the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony — the committee overseeing the prestigious awards has reversed course.
According to reports, the Nobel committee has reversed course on its widely criticized move to invite representatives from the named 3 nations. All of the nations are in their own ways are accused of some of the gravest human rights abuses presently on record.
However, the committee does intend to invite all of the usual representatives to the later event in Oslo according to the AP.
