Stampede at GloRilla concert kills 1 and injures numerous others after false reports of gunshots

1 person is dead this week with more than 9 others injured following a crowd stampede at a GloRilla concert over the weekend. According to reports, false reports of gunshots sent crowds surging toward the exit when the tragedy unfolded.

“Upon further investigation … none of the injuries sustained to any of the victims were consistent with a person being shot,” Rochester police Lt. Nicholas Adams told CNN. “The injuries appear to be as a result of a large crowd pushing towards the exits following accounts of individuals hearing what they believed to be gunshots.”
