Anita Pointer, Grammy winning member of the Pointer Sisters has died

Anita Pointer a member of the Grammy-winning group The Pointer Sisters has died. According to reports, the singer died of cancer.

She was along with the group perhaps best known for R&B hits in the 1970s and ’80s included “I’m So Excited,” “Jump (For My Love)” and “Fire,” died of cancer on Saturday at age 74, her publicist said.
