Former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison is finding herself in the press more than ever before even if she doesn’t want to be. According to reports, it is understood and widely that Ellison has turned against Bankman-Fried and is cooperating with federal authorities in the United States. Ellison is of much interest to the feds as the one time CEO of Alameda Research and its business efforts. Federal authorities claimed in a complaint unleashed this week that FTX diverted billions from FTX to Alameda without telling anyone setting off the largest case of financial fraud ever recorded.
Earlier this month, Ellison was spotted at a coffee shop in New York City which set off rumours that she was cooperating with the feds. Bankman-Fried, however, remains imprisoned in the Bahamas pending extradition to the United States.
