Putin has taken his first swipe at Italy ‘s incoming right-wing leader

Russia ‘s Vladamir Putin is back to his dirty dealings overseas. According to reports published over the weekend, the embattled despot has cut off gas supplies to Italy until Monday under the guise of ‘improvements’ but that doesn’t appear true. Days prior Italy’ incoming right-wing leader criticized Russia over its Ukrainian invasion. Giogoria Meloni despite here already unpopular policy standpoints has long been an advocate for Ukraine rather than Russia which has, of course, put her at odds with Putin himself.

Gazprom, Russia ‘s state owned gas company claimed otherwise nonetheless citing that the gas suspension is/was ‘due to the refusal of the Austrian operator to confirm the transport nominations’.

‘The reason is related to the regulatory changes that took place in Austria at the end of September,’ it added.
