In Vladamir Putin ‘s Russia — neighbors are turning on each other in reporting anti-war sentiments to the Kremlin

Vlad ‘s Russia is looking allot more like one of those movies where people who are forced to live in a massive security state report each other for simple and often no real reason at all. A new report out this week has revealed that Russians are entering this very state of affairs against the backdrop of claims that people are reporting each other if they are alleged to be anti-war in any way.

The Washington Post reports that teachers are being reported by students and parents and neighbors are turning on neighbors. Two Russian nationals based in Moscow described to Bazaar Daily via secure channels a situation that “seemed like something out of a really bad thriller.” Much of the rhetoric behind the citizen-reporting-wars comes from Putin ‘s own comments months ago where he praised those “who turn in traitors.”
