Hate it or love it the odd but binge-worthy science fiction Netflix show turned out to be one of the biggest around. Though show runners have now announced what many have probably wondered for a while — when will the show end. In a new letter posted online, brother-duo-showrunners the Duffer Brothers confirmed that the next season will be its last.
“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for ‘Stranger Things.’ At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons,” the Duffer Brothers, creators of the twisty science fiction series, wrote in a letter to fans. “It proved too large to tell in four but — as you’ll see for yourselves — we are now hurtling toward our finale.”
