Chris Noth has lost his deal to sell his tequila brand for $12m in wake of sexual assault claims

Claims that go back to at least 2004 though it is unclear if there are more victims. According to reports, the allegations have caused Entertainment Arts Research, Inc. the Nevada based beverage company working with Noth to rescind their offer. Reports indicate that the company ultimately decided in the wake of the allegations it no longer made any sense to work with Noth.

‘At this point in time it doesn’t make sense for us to move forward with this deal in light of the claims, which must be taken with the utmost seriousness,’ said Bernard Rubin, CEO of EARI in a press release. ‘That said, we continue to be on the lookout for spirits brands that fit EARI’s ethos of social responsibility.’
